NEAR Gets Its First US Spot ETF
Bitwise has launched the first U.S. spot ETF linked directly to NEAR, with the NRR fund beginning trading on NYSE Arca on September 29. The product gives traditional brokerage investors exposure to NEAR without requiring them to buy and custody the token directly through a crypto exchange or wallet. NRR charges a 0.75% annual management fee. Bitwise also plans to stake the fund’s NEAR holdings internally, with the current annualized staking rate around 5%, although rewards are not guaranteed and can change. The asset manager presents NEAR as infrastructure for an emerging AI-powered economy.
