UBS and Tudor Boost Bitcoin ETF Exposure
UBS and Tudor Investment increased their exposure to BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, during Q2 2026 despite Bitcoin’s price decline. UBS reported call options tied to 1.95 million underlying IBIT shares, up from 80,000 three months earlier — an increase of more than 24 times. Its direct IBIT holdings also rose 12% to 407,890 shares worth about $13.6 million. At the same time, UBS reduced its put exposure by 53%. Tudor Investment increased its IBIT holdings by 18.9% to 688,529 shares valued at approximately $22.9 million, while cutting its call exposure by around 85%.
