Tether Audit: What Changes?
Tether has finally received a full financial audit from KPMG, almost a decade after first promising one. The audit is a significant development for the issuer of USDT because it provides a deeper review than the regular reserve reports previously published by the company.
At the same time, the audit does not answer every question surrounding Tether. The review covers Tether International rather than the entire corporate structure, while the financial statements and supporting documentation provided to KPMG have not been made public. This means the audit can be viewed as a positive step toward greater transparency, but not as a complete guarantee of USDT’s reliability.
For crypto exchange users, developments around the largest stablecoin can affect liquidity, market sentiment and USDT trading conditions. Check current rates on xbit.money and compare available exchange options before making a transaction.
