Grayscale Sees Zcash at $8,100
Grayscale Research has outlined a scenario in which Zcash (ZEC) could reach roughly $8,100 by 2030 if the privacy-focused asset captures 10% of Bitcoin’s market capitalization. According to Coinpaper, a 2% share of Bitcoin’s market cap would imply a ZEC price above $1,622, while a 10% share would put the token near $8,100. Grayscale points to growing demand for financial privacy, Zcash’s zero-knowledge technology, quantum-resistant security and improving institutional access as potential drivers. The launch of the U.S.-listed Zcash ETF (ZCSH) on NYSE Arca adds another institutional catalyst. However, the $8,100 figure is an aggressive scenario rather than a conventional price target. ZEC was trading around $790 when the projection emerged, meaning the token would need to rise about 925% to reach the modeled level.
