Bitcoin Sell Pressure Falls
Selling pressure across the Bitcoin market has eased, potentially reducing the risk of a sharp short-term pullback. Glassnode data shows that Bitcoin’s seven-day Sell-Side Risk Ratio fell to 7 basis points per day, down from 16 basis points at its August peak. Long-term holders have also become less active in taking profits, accounting for about 47% of realized profit compared with 88% at the August high. The data points to more restrained selling by older holders and a weaker immediate supply overhang. However, a significant amount of older Bitcoin remains held at acquisition prices above the current market, meaning downside risks have not disappeared. For exchange users, lower selling pressure can support market stability, but BTC remains volatile. Check the latest Bitcoin rate and exchange conditions on xbit.money before converting your assets.
