Binance Invests $100M in Circle

Binance has purchased approximately $100 million worth of Circle shares as part of a new five-year agreement focused on expanding USDC adoption. According to CoinDesk, Circle issued 1.24 million Class A shares to Binance at $80.84 each in a private placement completed on September 17. Under the expanded partnership, Circle will pay Binance a monthly incentive calculated as a percentage of USDC held through Circle’s Modular Smart Contract Wallet infrastructure, while Binance will promote USDC across its platform. The new arrangement replaces earlier agreements between the companies signed in 2024 and 2025. The deal highlights the growing role of USDC within crypto trading infrastructure and its expanding institutional use. For exchange users, greater stablecoin liquidity can improve access to dollar-based crypto transactions. Check the latest USDC rate and exchange conditions on xbit.money.
